NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1122 From C1120 To Wellington Crossing, Marden, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1122 From C1120 To Wellington Crossing, Marden, from the property 'Wellington Crossing Cottage', westwards for approximately 200 metres. Grid Ref: 351137/248110.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1122, onto the C1120, onto the A49, then onto the C1122 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to vegetation maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st of October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night (23:30 - 09:30).
