NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Locations Within Wilmslow

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Buckingham Road, Wilmslow – For the Full Extent

Chapel Lane, Wilmslow – For the Full Extent

Hawthorn Lane, Wilmslow – From the Junction of Hawthorn Grove to The Junction of Green Lane.

Mill Street, Wilmslow – For the Full Extent

Bourne Street, Wilmslow – For the Full Extent

Westward Road, Wilmslow – For the Full Extent

Alma Lane, Wilmslow – For the Full Extent

Bedells Lane, Wilmslow – For the full extent

For specific diversions please visit one.network

This order will come into operation on Monday 12th October 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday 31st March 2027.
