NOTICE OF PROPOSAL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(STANHILL ROAD, KNUZDEN, HYNDBURN BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND PROHIBITION OF STOPPING ON SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:

1) Revoke the following: a) The "Lancashire County Council (Hyndburn Borough Area) (Revocation And Prohibition Of Stopping On School Entrance Markings) Order 2011" insofar as it relates to Items (38)(i) and (38)(ii) of Schedule Two. b) Schedule 3 of the "Lancashire County Council (Spread Eagle Street, Stanhill Road and Mayfield Gardens Oswaldtwistle, Hyndburn Borough) (Part Revocation, Prohibition of Waiting and School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2012". 2) Introduce a prohibition of stopping on school entrance markings in the following lengths of road:

a) Stanhill Road, Knuzden, the south side, from a point 32.5 metres west of its junction with the centreline of St Oswalds Road for a distance of 26 metres in a westerly direction; b) Stanhill Road, Knuzden, the south side, from a point 11.5 metres east of its junction with the centreline of St Oswalds Road for a distance of 43.5 metres in a westerly direction.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington, BB5 0PF and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roadsparking- and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulationorders/permanent-traffic-regulation-orders/ Any representations or objections (specifying the grounds on which they are made) relating to the proposal must be made in writing and should be sent to The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, P O Box 100, County Hall, Preston PR1 0LD or by e-mail to tro-consultation@lancashire.gov.uk quoting ref:LSG4/106231/AFR before the 30th October 2026.
