NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(STATION ROAD, BAMBER BRIDGE, SOUTH RIBBLE BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND LIMITED WAITING) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) Schedule 4 of the "Lancashire County Council (Station Road, Bamber Bridge, South Ribble Borough) (Revocation, Limited Waiting, Prohibition of Waiting and Prohibition of Loading) Order 2022";
b) The "Lancashire County Council (Station Road Area, Bamber Bridge, South Ribble Borough) (Revocation, prohibition of Waiting, Limited Waiting and Prohibition of Loading) Order 2019" insofar as it relates to Items a), b), d), e), f), g) and h) of Schedule 4.
2. Introduce a limited waiting parking place for 1 hour with no return within 2 hours Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm in the following lengths of road:
a) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the east side, from a point 24 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Withy Grove Road to a point 28.5 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Tyne Street;
b) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the east side, from a point 31 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Smith Street for a distance of 54 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the east side, from a point 8.5 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Tyne Street to a point 10 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Smith Street;
d) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the north east side, from a point 17 metres south east of its junction with the centreline of Hodson Street to a point 18.5 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Collins Road;
e) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the west side, from a point 12 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Clayton Street to a point 8 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Baldwin Street;
f) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the west side, from a point 9 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Teven Street for a distance of 23 metres in a southerly direction;
g) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the west side, from a point 11 metres south of its junction with the centreline of St Mary's Road for a distance of 24 metres in a southerly direction;
h) Station Road, Bamber Bridge, the west side, from a point 9 metres south east of its junction with the centreline of Baldwin Street to a point 12 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Kingsway.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of South Ribble Borough Council, Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
