ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(EDGE JUNCTION/HIGH STREET, THORNHILL, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Thornhill:Edge Junction - from a point outside property no. 7 to a point outside property no. 99

High Street - from its junction with Edge Junction to the end

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available as follows:Edge Junction - via Edge Road, Judy Haigh Lane, Carr Lane, Briestfield Road, Low Road and vice versa.

High Street - there is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 19 October 2026 and remain in force until 23 October 2026 between 09:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SAVILE PLACE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Savile Place, Mirfield from a point to side of property no. 1 to its junction with Savile Court PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Savile Place,Access from side of 15 Lee Green to Savile Place, Lee Green, Savile Court.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 19 October 2026 and remain in force until 6 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TRANSVAAL TERRACE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Transvaal Terrace, Batley at a point outside property no. 1 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 19 October 2026 and remain in force until 23 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LIME TREE AVENUE, STAINCLIFFE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lime Tree Avenue, Staincliffe from a point outside property no. 41 to a point outside property no. 45 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Lime Tree Avenue, Hazel Grove, Woodfield Avenue, Chestnut Avenue.

It is intended that the closure will commence at 19:00 hours on Thursday, 22 October 2026 and remain in force until 07:00 hours on 23 October 2026 (although it can remain in force up to 18 months if necessary).

(LIME TREE AVENUE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO.2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lime Tree Avenue, Batley from a point outside property no. 41 to a point outside property no. 37 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Lime Tree Avenue, Chestnut Avenue, Woodfield Avenue, Hazel Grove.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 5 October 2026 and remain in force until 9 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RECTORY DRIVE, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Rectory Drive, Birstall at a point outside property no. 45 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary routes available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 5 October 2026 and remain in force until 9 October 2026 between 07:00 hours to 19:00 hours only although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). Dated this 01 October 2026.
