1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make a Road Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to introduce:
a) A prohibition of movement that no persons shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to proceed on the full lengths of Welbourn Walk and Langford Walk, Anlaby Common, Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 9.15am and 3-4pm during term-time.
b) Exceptions will be provided for: essential access to and from premises for valid school street resident permit holders. Disabled badge holders. Emergency service and healthcare worker vehicles (including doctors on-call, district nurses, personal carers, support workers and essential healthcare visitors). A vehicle operated or contracted by the school to transport people to or from it. A vehicle bearing the livery of a private delivery service provider actively engaged in the delivery of goods to premises or properties situated on the road subject to the order, or another adjoining road which cannot otherwise be accessed.
The proposed changes are shown on plan reference ES124. New tile reference will be ES124A. An illustrative drawing is available for inspection TM2315/1200/02.
2. A copy of the draft Order, annotated illustrative drawing and a statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection at: Haltemprice Library & Customer Centre, 120 Springfield Way, Anlaby, HU10 6QJ.
A copy of the street notice and annotated illustrative drawing have been placed on the council’s website (East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management and Road Safety).
