ROAD AND TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(PROHIBITION and RESTRICTION OF WAITING and LOADING and ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL PARKING ENFORCEMENT and CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019 (AMENDMENT NO. 23)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council propose that in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), as amended, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and The Traffic Management Act 2004 (the ‘2004’ Act) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, propose to make Amendment Order No. 23 which shall have the general effect of amending the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council (Various Roads) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On-Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 (“the Consolidation Order”).
• The effects of the Order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on Eureka Place, Ebbw Vale as specified on map schedule O22A.
• The effects of the Order will be to revoke No Waiting at Any Time on Fairview & Eureka Place, Ebbw Vale as specified on map schedule O21C and O22A.
Full details of these proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the restricted area and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available on the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council website and will be so until the expiration date of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the undersigned by 22 October 2026.
