(SALFORD ROAD, ASPLEY GUISE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Salford Road, Aspley Guise 20 metres either side of the level crossing.

This temporary closure is required to enable level crossing inspection works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 2300hrs on 31 October to 1100hrs on 1 November 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Head north-west on Salford Rd, Continue onto Crabtree Ln, Turn right onto Cranfield Rd, Continue onto Wavendon Rd, Turn right onto Manor Cl, Continue onto Salford Rd, At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bedford Rd/A507, At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bedford Rd, Turn right onto The Square, Continue straight onto Church St, Continue onto Salford Rd

The Order will come into operation on 31 October 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Cranfield Road, Aspley Guise between Lower End Road and Wavendon Road.

This temporary closure is required to enable Redway link project work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 25 October to 5 December 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Broughton Rd, Fen St, Countess Way,Newport Rd, Lower End Rd and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 25 October 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of C100 from Froxfield to Tyrells End, Eversholt between Berry End to Hills End.

This temporary closure is required to enable Gully cleaning work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. It is expected that the works will take place from 26 to 28 October 2026 between the hours 0800-1600 The road will be closed at all times during this period.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of The Square, Aspley Guise outside number 14.

This temporary closure is required to enable stop tap replacement work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
