THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION: RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO. ) ORDER 202 - TRO/25/20

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to: 1. Replace a shared use parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, with daytime waiting restrictions which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm on Polwarth Gro x2, Henderson Pl La, Craigleith Hill Ave, McDonald Rd; 2. Reduce the extent of a shared use parking place and a resident permit parking place, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm and introduce daytime waiting restrictions which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm on Almondbank Ter; 3. Amend 24hr waiting restrictions to 24hr waiting restrictions with 24hr loading prohibitions on Marshall St; 4. Extend a resident permit parking place, which operates Mon-Sat 8.30am to 6.30pm and on Sun 12.30pm to 6.30pm, and remove a 24hr waiting restriction and 24hr loading prohibition on Tron Sq; 5. Reduce a resident permit parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, and extend a daytime waiting restriction which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm on Dryden Gdns; 6. Reposition and reduce the extent of a shared use parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, and introduce and amend daytime waiting restrictions, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, on Craigleith Rd; 7. Reposition and reduce the extent of a shared use parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, and introduce, remove and extend daytime waiting restrictions, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, on Falcon Rd West; 8. Replace a daytime waiting restriction, which operates MonFri 8.30am to 5.30pm, with a shared use parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm on Craigleith Hill Ave; 9. Reposition and reduce the extent of a resident permit parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 1.30pm to 3.00pm on Kingsburgh Rd; 10. Replace 24hr waiting restrictions with resident permit parking places x2 and shared use parking places, all operating Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, on Moat Dr; 11. Replace a resident permit parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, with a 24hr disabled persons’ parking place on Moat St; 12. Extend 24hr waiting restrictions on Wellington St; 13. Remove resident permit parking places, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, and 24hr waiting restrictions and replace with Permit Parking Areas, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, on Hutchison Rd and Moat St; 14. Replace 24hr waiting restrictions with daytime waiting restrictions, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm on Moat Ter; 15. Replace a daytime waiting restriction, which operates Mon-Sat 8.30am to 6.30pm and on Sun 12.30pm to 6.30pm, with 24hr waiting restrictions on Gifford Pk; 16. Replace a 24hr disabled persons’ parking place with a resident permit parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, on Harrison Pl; 17. Extend a daytime waiting restriction, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, and reduce resident permit parking places, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, on Chamberlain Rd and Palmerston Rd x2; 18. Replace daytime waiting restrictions, which operate Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, with 24hr waiting restrictions on E London St; 19. Reposition a shared use parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, and a motorcycle parking place, which operates Mon-Fri 8.30am5.30pm, on Drummond Pl; and 20. Reduce 24hr waiting restrictions on Hopefield Ter. Documents can also be viewed at Calton Hub, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG between 9:30am & 3:30pm Mon-Fri during the same period. Objectors must complete the form found via the “Proposals in consultation” link referred to above, or state their reasons in writing quoting reference Tro/25/20 to Traffic Orders at the above address, not later than 16/10/26. Objections should state the name and address of the objector.
