ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BARTLE LANE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Bartle Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bartle Lane from its junction with Great Horton Road to its junction Back Bartle Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Bartle Lane (unaffected section), Hollybank Road, Great Horton Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 12th of October 2026 and remain in force until 23:55 hours on the 23rd of October 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
