Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from wating, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Emscote Road commencing at the Highway fronting No. 11 and then continuing approximately 15m in each direction. The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 29th September 2026 and is required to enable Severn Trent Water to disconnect a water connection pipe safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Sunday 1st August 2027.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Emscote Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS GAZA CLOSE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Gaza Close for its entire length.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 28th September 2026 and is required to enable BT to clear blocked telecoms ducts works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Wednesday 30th September 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Oak Lane commencing at its junction with Birmingham Road and continuing to its junction with Brick Hill Lane.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 6th October 2026 and is required to enable new water connection works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Thursday 8th October 2026.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Clements Street commencing at its junction with Richmond Street and continuing to its junction with Chandos Street.
The Order will come into effect from 00:01 hours on Wednesday 7th October 2026 and is required to enable Severn Trent Water to rebuild a hydrant chamber safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 9th October 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY M240, COVENTRY CONTINUATION NOTICE
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended) (“the Act”), has made a temporary order entitled City of Coventry Public Right of Way M240 (Temporary Public Rights of Way Closure) 2025 (‘the Order’) which came into operation on Friday 31st October 2025.
The Order had the effect of closing that length of the footpath M240 from its junction with A45 Birmingham Road to its meeting point with footpath M241. The Order expired on 30th April 2026 pursuant to Section 15 of the Act. The Department for Transport (DfT) previously provided authorisation for the Order to be extended until 2nd October 2026.
The works as set out in the Order remain on going and as such, the Council on 18th September 2026 approached the Department for Transport (DfT) for an extension to the Order. On 22nd September 2026 the DFT provided authorisation for the Order to be further extended to 31st October 2026 or until completion of the Works (whichever occurs first).
Pursuant to ‘The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992’, the Council by this Notice hereby extends the Order as set out above.
The provisions of the Order shall continue in full force and effect as amended by this Notice.
Exemptions will be provided for
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) anyone in connection with the execution of the said works;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on St Margaret Road commencing from its junction with Gulson Road and continuing to its junction with David Road.
The Order would come into effect at 00:01 hours on Tuesday 13th October 2026 and is required to allow Severn Trent Water to renew a new water connection pipe on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 16th October 2026.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Pickford Green Lane commencing at its junction with Hollyberry Way and continuing to its junction with Farriers Way.
The Order would come into effect from 09:30 hours on Friday 9th October 2026 and is required to enable the safe replacement of a pole works to take place.
