LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976 - SECTION 70
Proposed Variation of Fees for the Grant of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences.
Notice is hereby given that Liverpool City Council proposes to vary the maximum fees which can be charged under Section 70(2) of The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1976 for the grant of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences in accordance with the provisions of Section 70(3) - (5) of the said Act of 1976. The proposed new fees are set out in the table below.
A copy of this notice is on deposit and may be inspected free of charge at the address above on any weekday between 09.00 and 16.30 until the period for making objections has expired.
Any objection to the proposed variation in vehicle licence and operator fees should be made in writing to the address below or by email to licensing@liverpool.gov.uk so that it is received by the 29 October 2026 being 28 days from the date of this notice.
