What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
CALVESTONE ROAD, RUGBY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. The Cycle Path will also be closed.
Reason for Order: To enable works for Sluice Valve rebuild.
Order Commences: 6 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Calvestone Road, Turchil Road, Cawston Grange Drive, Coventry Road and vice versa.

BERRYBANKS, RUGBY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Duct laying works.
Order Commences: 7 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible and safe to do so.

LEICESTER ROAD, CHURCHOVER
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Gibbet Roundabout to Lutterworth Road.
Reason for Order: Resurfacing and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 5 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: Leicester Road, Newbold Road, Main Street, Harborough Road, Rugby Road, Pailton Road, Lutterworth Road, Watling Street, A5, Coventry Road and vice versa.

BELL LANE, MONKS KIRBY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Millers Lane.
Reason for Order: Water mains renewal works.
Order Commences: 22 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: Main Street, Millers Lane and vice versa.

THE GREEN, LONG LAWFORD
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable duct laying works.
Order Commences: 19 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 October 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Contractor: Callan Connect, Tel: 0121 327 5167.
D3285 MILLFIELDS AVENUE, RUGBY
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Kingsley Avenue.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 08.00hrs - 17.00hrs.
Order Commences: 19 October 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Access/egress to/from Kirkby Road, Lyndhurst Road to be via Kingsley Avenue and Studland Avenue whilst works are in progress.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
