Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.
The General Effects of the Orders would be:
(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.62 Devonshire Hill Lane N17, No.88 Scales Road N17, No.44 Waldegrave Road N8, No.9 Connaught Gardens N10, No.25 Tilson Road N17, No.89 Craven Park Road N15, No.150 Rivulet Road N17, No.101 Gladesmore Road N15, Opposite No.6 on Albert Road N15, No.9 Western Road N2, No.15 Radley Road N17, outside the rear of No.25-33 Newland House on Campsbourne Road N8 (to be located adjacent to two existing disabled bays at southern end), No.63 Warham Road N4, No.62 Carew Road N17, No.7 Wellesley Road N22, No.3 Holmdale Terrace N15, No.21 Jellicoe Road N17 (in footway), No.193 Wightman Road N8, No.40/42 Southey Road N15, No.210 The Avenue N17 (disabled bay outside No.204 to be removed and permit parking to be reinstated), No.114 Thackeray Avenue N17, No.89 Dukes Avenue N10, No.46 Perth Road N22.
(ii) To introduce standard Disabled Parking bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; outside Simmons House on Woodside Avenue N10 (near junction with Marwood Square).
(iii) To convert existing Disabled Bays to Dedicated Disabled parking bays, outside the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey: No.30 Boreham Road N22, No.74 Effingham Road N8, No.130 Nelson Road N8, No.107 Granville Road N22.
(iv) To remove Disabled Parking Bays outside the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.204 The Avenue N17 (reinstate permit parking), No.149 Seymour Avenue N17 (reinstate permit parking), No.60 Glasslyn Road N8 (reinstate resident permit parking).
The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.
(v) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section (i) of this notice.
(vi) To make map-based changes on the following roads to ensure the Council’s internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):
To shorten the double yellow lines (southern end) outside No.25-33 Newland House on Campsbourne Road N8 by approximately 3.5 metres, relocating the adjacent disabled bays north and extending the resident permit bay by the same lengths.
To extend the double yellow lines outside Simmons House on Woodside Avenue N10 west by approximately 1.5 metres.
To shorten the single yellow line outside No.42/44 Waldegrave Road N8 by approximately 0.6 metres and extend the resident permit holders only bay outside No.46 southwards for the same length.
A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
