Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn yn gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio Ffordd Tynwydd, y Rhyl yn Sir Ddinbych rhwng Ffordd Arfordir y Rhyl a Bridgegate Road.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso’r gwaith o roi wyneb newydd, a wneir gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y llwybr amgen wedi’i arwyddo ar hyd Ffordd Arfordir y Rhyl, Ffordd Russell, Stryd y Baddon, Brighton Road, Grange Road a Ffordd Dyserth.

Mae’r Gorchymyn yn weithredol o 5 Hydref 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu lai, hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith, pa un bynnag fydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 18 Hydref 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TYNEWYDD ROAD, RHYL

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using Tynewydd Road, Rhyl, in the County of Denbigh between Rhyl Coast Road and Bridgegate Road.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via Rhyl Coast Road, Russell Road, Bath Street, Brighton Road, Grange Road and Dyserth Road.

The Order is effective from 5 October 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 18 October 2026.
