(MOWBRAY STREET (EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS)
(MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 1 October 2026 The Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on the 12 October 2026 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:
- No waiting at any time on parts of Mowbray Street
- Permit bays 09:00-15:00 on parts of Mowbray Street
- Paid bays 09:00-15:00 on parts of Mowbray Street
- Prohibition of all Vehicles on part of Mowbray Street
- One Way Traffic on part of Mowbray Street

And remove
- No waiting at any time on parts of Mowbray Street
- Permit bays 09:00-15:00 on parts of Mowbray Street
- Paid bays 09:00-15:00 on parts of Mowbray Street
- One Way traffic on part of Mowbray Street

Between 1 October 2026 and 1 April 2027.

The City Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the Experimental Orders should be continued in force indefinitely. Any person wishing to object to the making of an Order for such indefinite continuation may do so, giving the grounds for the objection on

or in writing to the undersigned by the 12 April 2027.

Any alterations to these Orders which will render it less restrictive may be authorised by the Director of Investment, Climate Change and Planning without the requirement to re-advertise the Order under Section 10(2) of the said Act, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of these Orders or any of its
provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 12 April 2027, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
