TEMPORARY ONE-WAY ORDER
B6543 HOLYWELL STREET, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 18 October 2026 (08:00 to 16:00).
WHERE: To temporarily prohibit vehicles from travelling in a south easterly direction on B6543 Holywell Street, Chesterfield from the Jct. of Durrant Road for a distance of 80m in a south easterly direction (bus and cycle lane unaffected).
REASON: To facilitate gas service disconnection works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Anti-clockwise Only - Saltergate, Clarence Road, West Bars, West Bars Interchange, A619 Markham Road, Lordsmill Interchange, B6543 Lordsmill Street / St Mary's Gate / Holywell Street.
The restriction will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
