RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) (CONSOLDIATION No.2) ORDER 2026 (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sheffield City Council proposes to make Orders under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce:
Prohibition of Vehicles on part of Wincobank Rd
One Way Traffic on part of Monckton Rd

No waiting at any time on parts of Monckton Rd, Shiregreen Lane and Wincobank Rd
And remove:
No waiting at any time on parts of Monckton Rd, Shiregreen Lane and Wincobank Rd
No waiting Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 18:30 on parts of Monckton Rd and
Shiregreen Lane

PUBLIC NOTICE
SHIREGREEN LANE - PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING

Notice is hereby given that Sheffield City Council in exercise of its powers and having consulted with the Chief of Police under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers propose to install a pedestrian crossing as listed below:

Zebra Pedestrian Crossing across Shiregreen Lane in Sheffield approximately 5 metres north west of its junction with the north western kerb line of Monckton Road.

The crossing will incorporate a controlled area indicated by zig zags markings along the carriageway where parking and loading will be prohibited. The controlled areas extends from a point approximately 26 metres north west of its junction with the north western kerb line of Monckton Road to a point 10 metres south east of its junction wit the south eastern kerb line of Monckton Road.

The new crossing is designed to make it safer and easier for people to cross Shiregreen Lane, it forms part of the Council’s wider commitment to improving road safety, encouraging walking and sustainable travel, and enhancing neighbourhood environments.

Copies of the proposed Orders and Public Notice, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Orders may also be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.
