SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC BESSINGBY ROAD
SERVICE ROAD, BRIDLINGTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Bessingby Road Service Road, Bridlington after its
junction with St Johns Avenue commencing 30 October
2026 between 08.00 hours and 16.00 hours to allow
for CSO maintenance/inspection works to prevent
any future pollutions. The road closure is necessary to
enable the works to be carried out in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within eight hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via: N/A dead end road.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but
access will be maintained for residents, emergency
vehicles and pedestrians. Further information can
