DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
FOOTPATH TEMPORARY CLOSURE EXTENSION PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.4 (PART) HAYFIELD PARISH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 02 April 2026 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which was to close part of footpath No.4 to facilitate public safety due to footpath erosion, has been further continued.
WHEN: 03 October 2026 to 02 October 2027.
WHERE: Hayfield Footpath No.4 near Phoside Farm, from Bridleway No.5 southeast to its jct with Bridleway No.8.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From near Phoside Farm follow Bridleway No.5 Southwest then Bridleway No.8 southward and east north-eastward to its Jct with Footpath No.4, and vice versa from the southeast end of the closure.
During the closure period access will be maintained whenever reasonably possible on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished.
