Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge, Parking & Waiting, No 65, Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate, East side, in its entire length. Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate, West side from its intersection point with the southern kerb line of Bower Street (U94) to a point 9.2 metres north of its intersection point with the projected northern kerb line of Bower Street. Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate, West side from a point 17.2 metres north of its intersection point with the projected northern kerb line of Bower Street (U94) to a point 21.5 metres north its intersection point with the projected northern kerb line of Bower Street. Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate, West side from a point 65.1 metres north of its intersection point with the projected northern kerb line of Bower Street (U94) to a point 74.8 metres north its intersection point with the projected northern kerb line of Bower Street. Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate, West side from a point 5.5 metres south of its junction with Bower Road to its junction with Bower Road. Schedule 2 – Part I - Disc Parking Zones - Residents Priority Parking Exemptions - Parking Places Zone E E1, Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate. The west side from a point 9.2 metres north of its intersection point with the projected northern kerbline of Bower Street (U94) to a point 17.2 metres north its intersection point with the projected northern kerbline of Bower Street (U94). Days of operation: Mon-Sat between 9.00am - 6.00pm. Max permitted stay time is 10 minutes. The limit on return of vehicle to parking plance in Zone is That day. Zone E, E1. Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate. The west side from a point 21.5 metres north of its intersection point with the projected northern kerbline of Bower Street (U94) to a point 65.1 metres north its intersection point with the projected northern kerbline of Bower Street (U94). Days of operation are Mon-Sat between 9.00am - 6.00pm. Max permitted stay time is 10 minutes. The limit on return of vehicle to parking place in Zone is That day. Zone E, E1. Bower Street (U1198), Harrogate. The west side from a point 24.2 metres south of its junction with Bower Road to a point 5.5 metres south of its junction with Bower Road. Days of operation are Mon-Sat between 9.00am - 6.00pm. Max permitted stay time is 10 minutes. The limit on return of vehicle to parking place in Zone is That day. Schedule 3 – Revocations North Yorkshire County Council (Harrogate, Knaresborough, Pannal & Burn Bridge) (Parking & Waiting) (No.16) Order 2013:- In so far as it relates to Schedule 1 (No waiting at any time), items; 208 to 211 (Back Haywra Street, Harrogate – west side), & In so far as it relates to Schedule 40 (Disc/ Residential parking), items; 154 to 155 (Back Haywra Street, Harrogate – west side). A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 01/10/26 to 22/10/26 & also viewed online at
