What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(CONTROL OF ON-STREET PARKING) (NO. 1) ORDER 2026

AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 1 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004 as amended and all other enabling powers.

Effects of the Order:

The effects of the Order are to introduce the new restrictions as detailed in Schedules 1-4 and remove the restrictions as detailed in Schedules 5 & 6.

The Order was made on the 28th September 2026 and will come into operation on the 5th October 2026.

All of the remaining waiting restrictions, loading/unloading restrictions, parking restrictions, stopping restrictions and disabled parking spaces within the Borough of Bracknell Forest will remain unchanged.

Copies of this notice, the draft Order, Plans and Statement of Reasons may be inspected on the ‘Highways Public Notices’ page of the Council’s website www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk.

Objections:

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the 28th day of September 2026, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
