Public Notice - The Bromley (Prescribed Route) (No. ) - (Prohibition of Solo Motorcycles) Order 202 - (Chancery Lane, Beckenham, Clarence Road, Bickley) - T733

Notice Is Hereby Given that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to introduce prohibitions on motorcycles entering or proceeding in Chancery Lane, Beckenham between its junctions with Limes Road and Wickham Road & also Bromley Road, and in Clarence Road, Bickley, between its junctions with Page Heath Lane and Beaconsfield Road, except for access. The prohibitions would operate at any time.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, plans and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday, at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to: The Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting Reference: - ADE(TP)/MW/SF/T733, no later than 28th October 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
