What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
Public Notice - **The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 - (Amendment No. ) Order 202 (Various Locations) - T845
Notice Is Hereby Given that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order would be to:
(a) introduce/extend ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) convert existing Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions operating between 8:00am and 6:30pm to No Waiting ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) convert existing Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions operating between 8:30am and 6:30pm to No Waiting ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule 3 to this Notice.
(d) Introduce new Monday to Friday waiting restrictions operating between 11:00am and 12:00pm (noon) as set out in the Schedule 4 to this Notice.
This paper-based amendment will bring official records in line with what already exists on-street, requiring no physical changes on-site.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.
Copies of the proposed Order, plans and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday, at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to: The Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting Reference : -ADE(TP)/MW/SF/T845 no later than 28th October 2026.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

Allington Road, Orpington:
(a) both sides
(i) from the southern kerb line of Andover Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Andover Road, Orpington:
(a) both sides
(i) from the western kerb line of Tandridge Drive in an easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
(b) south side
(i) from a point 10 metres west of the western kerb line of Allington Road in an easterly direction 10 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Allington Road.
Belmont Lane, Chislehurst:
(a) south-east side
(i) from a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb line of Woodside Avenue in a north-easterly direction to a point 10 metres north-east of the northern kerb line of Woodside Avenue.
Bourne Vale, Hayes:
(a) the east side
(i) from a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb line of Chatham Avenue to a point 10 metres south of the southern kerb line of Chatham Avenue.
Cavendish Way, West Wickham:
(a) the north-west side
(i) from a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb line of Chamberlain Crescent north-west to south east-arm to a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb line of Chamberlain Crescent north-west to south-east arm.
(b) the south-east side
(i) from the south western kerb line of Pine Avenue in a south westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
(c) the east side
(i) from a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb line of Wilmar Gardens to a point 10 metres south of the southern kerb line of Wilmar Gardens.

(a) north-east side
(i) from the southern kerb line of William Booth Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

(i) from the southern kerb line of William Booth Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 7 metres.
Pine Avenue, West Wickham:
(a) both sides
(i) the south-eastern kerb line of Chamberlain Crescent in an easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Pittsmead Avenue, Hayes:
(b) the north-east side
(i) from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of Southbourne to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb line of Southbourne.
Plaistow Lane, Bromley:
(a) the north-east side
(i) from a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerb line of Sundridge Avenue to a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb line of Sundridge Avenue.
Southbourne, Hayes:
(a) both sides
(i) from the north-eastern kerb line of Pittsmead Avenue in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
