Public Notice - **The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 - (Amendment No. ) Order 2026 - **The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. ) Order 2026 - (Yew Tree Road, Beckenham) - T846

Notice Is Hereby Given that THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders, in relation to Yew Tree Road, Beckenham would be to: -
(a) extend the single yellow line outside No. 18 Yew Tree Road as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
(b) reduce the parking bays outside No. 18 Yew Tree Road as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
(c) convert the existing ‘Pay and Phone’ bay adjacent to No. 312 Croydon Road to a ‘Permit Holders Only’ bay as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

This paper-based amendment will bring official records in line with what already exists on-street, requiring no physical changes on-site.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plan and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours Monday to Friday, at: Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to: The Assistant Director of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, 2 Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing: TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting Reference: - ADE(TP)/MW/SF/T7846 no later than 28 October 2026.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting ‘Monday to Friday 10:00am – noon’: -

Yew Tree Road, Beckenham,
(a) north-east side
(i) from a point 15 metres north-west of the junction with Croydon Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

SCHEDULE 2: -

RESIDENT PERMIT PARKING

Monday to Friday 10:00am – noon: -

Yew Tree Road, Beckenham,
(a) north-east side
(i) from a point 10 metres north-west of the junction of Croydon Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 5 metres.
