NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
Cambridgeshire County Council has made Concurrent Orders under sections 26 and 118 of the Highways Act 1980 to reorganise the alignment of a public footpath in Kimbolton.

Public Path Creation Order 2026
The above order, made on the 11th of September 2026 under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, will create a Public Footpath, as described below:
A Public Footpath beginning at TL 0981 6744 and proceeding in a north-westerly direction for approximately 390m to reach TL 0953 6772. The footpath turns north-east for approximately 11m, reaching TL 0954 6772 and then proceeds north-west for approximately 51m, reaching a culvert at TL 0951 6776, the footpath continues north-west for approximately 11m, and terminates at a junction with Public Footpath No. 32, Kimbolton, at TL 0950 6777.

Public Path Extinguishment Order 2026
The above order, made on the 11th of September 2026 under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish part of Public Footpath No. 34, Kimbolton, as described below:
The whole width of that part of Public Footpath No. 34, Kimbolton beginning near the High Street at TL 0999 6769 and proceeding south-west for approximately 45m to reach TL 0996 6766, continuing south-east for approximately 13m to TL 0996 6765, and then curving to the south-west, then south-east, for approximately 66m to reach TL 0993 6759. The Footpath then proceeds straight-on in a south-westerly direction for approximately 199m to TL 0981 6744.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of the Huntingdonshire District Council and of the undersigned, during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought at the latter at the price of £16.20. Copies are also available on our website:

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the undersigned not later than 28th October 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Cambridgeshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
