Mae’r ffordd amgen ar hyd Woodland Street, Coedcae Road, Hillside Avenue ac i’r gwrthwyneb neu Upper Woodland Street, Llanfoist Crescent, Hillside Avenue ac i’r gwrthwyneb. (Cynhelir mynediad i’r gwasanaethau brys cyn belled ag y bo’n rhesymol bosibl).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)(A) (AS AMENDED)

WOODLAND STREET & UPPER WOODLAND STREET, BLAENAVON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along a section of Woodland Street and Upper Woodland Street, Blaenavon.

The alternative route is along Woodland Street, Coedcae Road, Hillside Avenue and vice versa or Upper Woodland Street, Llanfoist Crescent, Hillside Avenue and vice versa. (Access for emergency services will be maintained as far as is reasonably practicable).

The prohibition is necessary because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to clear blockages and lay ducts.

The proposed Order will operate on Wednesday 7 October 2026 to Friday 9 October 2026 and any other days deemed necessary within a period not exceeding 18 months.
