Nature of Restriction: Footpath Closure

Location: Footpath Between Honey Lane And Kennedy Crescent, Cholsey, Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Reason: Gas replacement works on behalf of SOUTHERN GAS NETWORKS PLC.

Duration: Starting on 05/10/2026 00:00

The anticipated completion date is 30/10/2026 23:59 (inclusive)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 19 October 2026

Coming into force: 26 October 2026

This Order is being introduced because of drainage maintenance works which are anticipated to be completed 4 November 2026. This will operate between 09:30 and 15:30hrs.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in parts of Baldon Lane, The Green and Pebble Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when and where the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via Baldon Lane, B480, B4015, A4074, and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T18455/AC)
