Essex County Council

(Church Lane, Little Warley) 
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood from its junction with Warley Street for a distance of approximately 65m in an easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH2ND37K – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct clearing works are undertaken by Openreach. 

No alternative route is available.

The Order will come into effect on 7th October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Fryerning Lane, Ingatestone) 
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fryerning Lane, Ingatestone in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 325m south east of the junction with Blackmore Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a south easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH3DLL3S – Openreach). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Fryerning Lane, Blackmore Road, Bag Lane, Trueloves Lane, B1002, Fryerning Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 7th October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Lane, Shenfield in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 60m north west of its junction with Lewis Close for a distance of approximately 45m in a north westerly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGTVM03F – Openreach). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Russell Close, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with St Kildas Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th October 2026 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30091202584 – UK Power Networks). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Well Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768043819/21 – Anglian Water Business (National)). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer cleaning works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

The Order came into effect on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hutton Village, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with Hall Green Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH2J469M – Openreach). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Hutton Village, Church Lane, Rayleigh Road, Hutton Village and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kingsley Road, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Tennyson Road to its junction with Hall Green Lane a distance of approximately 105m. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2026 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2399402-03 – Essex County Council). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Tennyson Road, Shelley Road, Hall Green Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Green Road, Fryerning) 
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Green Road, Fryerning in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Mapletree Lane to its junction with Hardings Lane a distance of approximately 240m. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311002WH3CCG5V – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct clearance works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Mill Green Road, Beggar Hill, Blackmore Road, Ingatestone Road, Chelmsford Road, Blackmore Road, Ingatestone Road, Mill Green Road and vice versa. 

The Order came into effect on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
