Notice Of Intent
1. Notice Is Hereby Given that in order to facilitate Utility repair and maintenance works; THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM intends to make a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The order is expected to come in to effect on Wednesday 28 October 2026.
The works expected for:
- Utility repair and maintenance works, to take 1 day to complete. Completion date estimated as Wednesday 28 October 2026 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm.
However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily: -
- Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Flamstead Road, both sides, between its junction with Stocker Gardens and its junction with Stamford Road.
- Prohibit all vehicular traffic (except for access) on Flamstead Road, both sides, between its junction with Woodward Road and its junction with Stocker Gardens.
4. Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
- Via: Woodward Road, Stamford Road and Vice Versa.
