TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHURCH STREET, MAIN STREET, NETHERSEAL
WHEN: 19 October to 21 October 2026 (09:30 to 16:00)
WHERE: Church Street, Main Street, Netherseal between Main Street and Church Street.
REASON: To facilitate civils excavation 32m.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street, Acresford Road, Burton Road, A444 from Rectory Lane to Measham Road, Layby off A444 Northbound Burton Road, Layby off A444 Southbound Burton Road, roundabout at the Jct. of M42 Slip Roads A42 Slip Roads A444 B5493 and Tamworth Road, B5493 from roundabout at M42 Jct. 11 to County Boundary, Footpath P94, Ashby Road, Chilcote Lane, No Mans Heath Road, Netherseal Road, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
