1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The effect of the Orders would be:
(a) to provide new ‘unlimited stay’ Disabled Persons’ parking places (DPPPs), 6.6 metres (‘m’) in length (unless otherwise stated) and aligned parallel to the kerb (unless otherwise stated), which would operate ‘at any time’ and may be used without time limit by vehicles displaying a valid Disabled Persons’ 'blue badge', at the following locations:- BEAUVAL ROAD two locations south-west side (i) o/s No. 18 Beauval Road, and (ii) o/s Nos. 50 and 52 Beauval Road; BRAYARD'S ROAD south-east side o/s Nos. 112 and 114 Brayard's Road; BURBAGE ROAD north-east side o/s Nos. 80 and 82 Burbage Road; CORNFLOWER TERRACE north-east side o/s No. 23 Cornflower Terrace; DUNSTAN'S ROAD north-west side o/s Nos. 110 and 112 Dunstan's Road; HASLAM STREET two locations north-east side (i) o/s No. 7 Haslam Street, and (ii) o/s Nos.17 and 19 Haslam Street (6m in length); HOLMDENE AVENUE south-west side on the side of No. 93 Herne Hill; LOMOND GROVE south-west side o/s Nos. 78 and 80 Lomond Grove; LYNDHURST GROVE south-west side o/s No. 40 Lyndhurst Grove; MASON CLOSE standing at 90° to the kerb south-west side o/s Nos. 9 and 10 Mason Close (2m in width and 6m in length); SILVESTER ROAD north-east side o/s No. 8 Silvester Road; SOMERTON ROAD south-east side o/s Nos. 8 and 10 Somerton Road; and WOODWARDE ROAD south-west side o/s No. 103 Woodwarde Road;
NOTES: (1) The measures in 2(b)-(f) below are made to accommodate the provision of the new permanent ‘unlimited stay’ Disabled Persons’ parking places (DPPPs) and in those locations in the carriageway as detailed in item 2(a) above. (2) ‘permit’ refers to parking places for holders’ of valid parking permits within the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) listed, ‘shared- use’ refers to parking places in which holders of a valid permit for the CPZ listed or ‘pay’ (‘Pay by Phone’ ticket holders) are permitted to park within the permitted hours. 'at any time' means all hours on every day of the week. (3) All measurements are in metres ‘m’ and are approximate. (4) Parking charges are listed on www.southwark.gov.uk/parking
(b) in Controlled Parking Zone (‘CPZ’) 'EC' in LOMOND GROVE south-west side o/s Nos. 78 and 80 Lomond Grove reduce existing permit-holders' parking places ('permit') by 6.6m (31m remain);
(c) in CPZ 'HH' in HOLMDENE AVENUE south-west side on the side of No. 93 Herne Hill reduce existing permit-holders’ and ‘Pay by Phone’ ('shared-use') parking by 6.6m (18.5m remain);
(d) in MASON CLOSE reduce unmarked parking within existing permit-holders’ only past this point area within existing CPZ 'OKR' permit-holders only past this point area - standing at 90° to the kerb south-west side o/s Nos. 9 and 10 Mason Close (2m in width and 6m in length);
(e) in CPZ 'PR' in LYNDHURST GROVE south-west side o/s No. 40 Lyndhurst Grove split and reduce existing 'permit' by 6.6m (a total of 72.5m remain);
(f) in CPZ ‘R' in HASLAM STREET north-east side (i) o/s No. 7 Haslam Street split and reduce existing 'permit' by 6.6m (a total of 28m remain), and (ii) o/s Nos. 17 and 19 Haslam Street split and reduce existing 'permit' by 6m (a total of 12m remain); and
(g) the Council will amend the Traffic Management Order map-based schedule to remove 5m of 'permit' south-west side o/s No. 66 LOMOND GROVE as an administrative exercise to match the street more closely (no physical changes will be made at this location).

5.
