TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 18th September 2026, the Highway Authority being satisfied the restrictions are necessary because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 18th September 2026, is to temporarily close South View, Eaglescliffe, on the southern link road between A135 Yarm Road and South View, at such times as traffic management signs may be erected to notify highway users of the closure. It is expected that works will be carried out between approximately 18th September and 25th September 2026. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. A diversion route will be signed on site. Access for emergency vehicles will not be maintained.
