TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE & WHEN:
• Oakley Lane from its junction with Oakley Straight east for approximately 300m
Anticipated dates: 26th October 2026 until 29th October 2026
• Oakley Lane from its junction with Harlequin Drive to its junction with Floral Farm
Anticipated dates: 30th October 2026 until 2nd November 2026
• Oakley Lane from its junction with Floral Farm to its junction with Canford Magna
Anticipated dates: 3rd November 2026 until 5th November 2026
WHY: This is to facilitate highway improvement works by Kamm Civil Engineering
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety
DIVERSION: Via Oakley Straight, Merley Lane, Queen Anne Drive, Canford Magna and vice versa

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
