The Council Has Made
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 42/1, Parish Of Penn) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026
Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 42/1, from the junction of PEN/FP/42/1 & Penn Road, continuing east to the junction of PEN/FP/42/1 and Finch Lane.
The closure is required to allow for 41M of duct to be laid on behalf of Open Reach for telecommunication works.
The Order will come into operation on 22 September 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 3/1, Parish Of Great And Little Kimble) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026
Made on 1 April 2026, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 2 October 2027.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.3/1, Great and Little Kimble, from the junction of Public Footpath No.3/1, Great and Little Kimble at the junction with Bridge Street to a point approx. 85M southwest of the junction with Bridge Street.
The alternative route is via: existing public highway.
The Council Intends To Make
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 42/2, Parish Of Amersham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026
Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. AMS/FP/42/2, commencing approx. 365M south of AMS/FP/42/2 and Hervines Road, closing the path over the railway line.
There is no alternative route.
The closure is required to enable signalling upgrades on the railway.
The Order will come into operation on 3 October 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
