(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along the Public Footpath No.28 at Albert Dock between the starting at the junction with Wellington Street and the part adjacent to Dunston Ship Repair as more particularly signposted along the way 28 Albert Dock Prow, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to divert users away from this part of the route and will enable ABP to review structural, safety and operational considerations relating to its ongoing use.
The alternative route to be signed.
Access will not be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 8th October 2026 from 00:00 to 23:59 on 8th April 2027.
It is anticipated, however, that the review will be completed in a period of approximately Six Months.
