THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(VALLEY ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Valley Road in
both directions from the side of property 95 to the side of
property 37.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 12 October 2026 until 23 October 2026.
The diversion route is: Longford Road, Bushbury Road,
Shawbury Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate foul and water connection
for Chasetown Civil Engineering.
