TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ABBOTS LANGLEY 061
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has extended, with consent of the Secretary of State, the Order which was made under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. To prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Abbots Langley 061, between Woodside Road and High Elms Lane, for an approximate distance of 300 metres.
Alternative route: no suitable alternative on PRoW network
The purpose of the Order is to enable development works to take place. The section of Footpath will continue to be closed for up to 18 months until 21/04/2028 or completion of the works whichever is sooner.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON COPPERMILL LANE, WEST HYDE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coppermill Lane, West Hyde from its junction with Old Uxbridge Road north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 1026m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Old Uxbridge Road, Chalfont Lane, A412 (Denham Way/North Orbital Road), Moorfield Road, Moorhall Road, Harvil Road, Church Hill, High Street and Coppermill Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 14 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 8 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS ON REEDS CRESCENT, WATFORD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on the east side of Reeds Crescent, Watford from its junction with Hallam Close south westwards to its junction with Keele Close, a distance of approximately 69m ("the Road"), when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because refurbishment works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Gypsy Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Hunton Bridge Hill south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Buckettsland Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with Well End Road north eastwards to its junction with Holmshill Lane, a distance of approximately 745m.
An alternative route will be via Well End Road, Rowley Lane and Holmshill Lane.
3. that length of High Canons, Borehamwood from its junction with Well End Road south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Buckettsland Lane, a distance of approximately 502m.
An alternative route will be via Well End Road and Buckettsland Lane.
4. that length of A4145 Tolpits Lane, Watford from its junction with the Dwight Road roundabout north eastwards to its junction with Chaffinch Lane, a distance of approximately 556m.
An alternative route will be via A4145 (Tolpits Lane/Moor Lane), A404 (London Road/Riverside Drive), A412 (Rectory Lane/Park Road/Scots Hill/Watford Road/Rickmansworth Road), A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road) and A4145 (Vicarage Road/Hagden Lane/Tolpits Lane) or via A4145 (Tolpits Lane/Hagden Lane/Vicarage Road), A4178 (Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 (Rickmansworth Road/Watford Road/Scots Hill/Park Road/Rectory Lane), A404 (Riverside Drive/London Road) and A4145 Tolpits Lane.
5. that length of A405 North Orbital Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue roundabout, a distance of approximately 2306m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road and A41 North Western Avenue.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 12 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Long Lane, Mill End from its junction with A412 Uxbridge Road north westwards to its junction with Eastwick Crescent, a distance of approximately 200m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A412 Uxbridge Road, Uxbridge Road, Long Lane and Eastwick Crescent.
The Order is needed because cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 16 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 17 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. that length of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road north eastwards to its junction with Balmoral Road, a distance of approximately 550m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, A411 Hempstead Road, A41 North Western Avenue and A412 St Albans Road or via A412 St Albans Road, A41 North Western Avenue, A41 Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue) and A412 St Albans Road.
2. that length of Jordans Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Williamson Way north westwards to its junction with Thellussom Way, a distance of approximately 216m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Shire Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Heronsgate Road north eastwards to its junction with Station Approach, a distance of approximately 1020m.
An alternative route will be via Heronsgate Road, Long Lane, A412 (Denham Way/Uxbridge Road/Rectory Road), A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road/Chenies Road) and Green Street.
4. the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout, Watford from its junction with A41 North Western Avenue north westwards to its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 355m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, the A411 Hempstead Road roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.
5. the A405 westbound slip road leading onto A41 North Western Avenue, Watford from its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout north westwards to its junction with A41 North Western Avenue, a distance of approximately 225m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, the A41 The Dome roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.
6. that length of Green Street, Chorleywood from its junction with Orchard Drive north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with A404 Amersham Road, a distance of approximately 935m.
An alternative route will be via Green Street, Station Approach, Common Road and A404 (Chenies Road/Amersham Road).
7. that length of Hill Farm Avenue, Abbots Langley from its junction with Aerodrome Way eastwards and southwards to the service road fronting Nos.33-37 Hill Farm Avenue, a distance of approximately 130m.
An alternative route will be via Aerodrome Way, Ashfields, High Road and Hill Farm Avenue.
8. that length of Puttenham Close, South Oxhey from its junction with Ralston Way south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. that length of Highfield Way, Rickmansworth from its junction with Berry Lane north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Meadow Way, a distance of approximately 1396m.
An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Valley Road, The Clump, The Drive, Nightingale Road and Meadow Way.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 12 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
