ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U2111 BROOK LANE, FRAMLINGHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2111 Brook Lane, Framlingham from Byre House to Owls Barn to facilitate installation of fibre overhead cabling. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be New Road, the B1119, the B1116 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 26/09/2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF
THE C605 COOKS DRIVE, WEST ROW
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the C605 Cooks Drove, West Row from 500 metres north of the junction with Delph Drove for 1700 metres northbound to facilitate installing a replacement water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 07/10/2026 - 29/11/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF
ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON PART OF
THE C969 HUNGATE AND SMALLGATE, BECCLES
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C969 Hungate, Beccles from 40 metres south of the junction with Smallgate for 40 metres southbound to facilitate repairing a manhole cover. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
* Northbound diversion: St Marys Road, Ballygate, Market Street, Smallgate and no vice versa
* Southbound diversion: Smallgate, Market Street, Newgate, Blyburgate, Peddars Lane and no vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the C969 Smallgate, Beccles from no. 8 to Spindlers to allow access and egress.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 8pm on 07/10/2026 - 5am on 08/10/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C237 EASTON ROAD, FRAMLINGHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C237 Easton Road, Framlingham from 715 metres west of the junction with B1116 for 200 metres westbound to facilitate removing tree branches away from high voltage power cables and clear vegetation from highway boundary. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1116, the B1078 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/10/2026 - 08/10/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE F2445 FOOTWAY FROM EAGLE WAY TO BETWEEN
NOS. 28 AND 45 PARKERS PLACE, MARTLESHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the F2445 Footway from Eagle Way to between nos. 28 and 45 Parkers Place, Martlesham from the junction with Parkers Place for 15 metres north eastbound to facilitate removal and replacement of an electrical link box. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be Parkers Place unassociated footway, Parkers Place, Eagle Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 07/10/2026 - 09/10/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C617 BRANDON ROAD AND
C615 THETFORD ROAD, MILDENHALL
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

* C617 Brandon Road, Mildenhall from the junction with the A1101 to the junction with Heath Road
* C615 Thetford Road, Mildenhall from the junction with the A1101 for 60 metres eastbound

C615 Thetford Road, Mildenhall from 60 metres east of the junction with the A1101 for 200 metres eastbound.
This is to facilitate fibre network connections. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:

* Brandon Road - Clockwise - Brandon Road, the A1065, the B1112, the A1101 and vice versa.
* Brandon Road - Anti-clockwise - the A1101, the A1065, Thetford Road with no vice versa
* Thetford Road - Thetford Road, the A1065, the A1101 and vice versa

Thetford Road, the A1065, the A1101 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
- 07/10/2026 - 13/10/2026
- 14/10/2026 - 22/10/2026.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
