1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham has made the abovementioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Order which comes into operation on the 7th October 2026 will be to:
Michael Road
a) Remove part of the shared-use parking place on the south-east side of Michael Road situated 16.70 metres south-west of the south-western boundary of Bannon Court and replace it with a single yellow line.
b) Shorten the shared-use parking place on the south-east side of Michael Road so that it terminates at a point 7 metres east of the vehicular entrance to Kirkham House.
c) Introduce single yellow line waiting restrictions on both sides of the vehicular entrance to Kirkham House, extending 7 metres east and 10 metres west of the entrance.
3. A copy of the proposed Orders, the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and documents giving more detailed particulars can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
