What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
Ingram Road, Dartford, DA1 1JL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of Thames Water Utilities works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ingram Road, Dartford, on or after 5th October 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 30 and 40.
The alternative route is via Cranford Road, Lowfield Street, Ingram Road and vice versa.
Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe, DA10 0BH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
Because of repairs to a water valve box in the carriageway, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe, on or after 19th October 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Stanhope Road.
The alternative route is via Stanhope Road, Milton Road, Milton Street, Manor Road, Swanscombe Street and vice versa.
