Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) A360 (Part), West Lavington; from its junction with Duck Street to its junction with Church Street to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out repair mains leak and other associated works. Alternative route: via A360 (unaffected length) – B3086 – The Packway – A345 – A342 – A360 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route HGVs: via A360 (unaffected length) – Cheverell Road – B3098 – B3008 – The Packway – A345 – A342 – A360 (unaffected length) and vice versa. B) Fairwood Road (Part), Dilton Marsh; from the railway bridge to its property known as No.39 Fairwood Road to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out safety examination of bridge structure. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 29 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. Alternative route clockwise light vehicles under 7.5t via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – B3089 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length). Alternative route anti clockwise light vehicles under 7.5t via B3095 (unaffected length) – A303 – A350 – B3095 (unaffected length). Alternative route HGVs over 7.5t via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 29 September 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 1 day. H) Dynham Lane (Part), Trowbridge; from its junction with A363 for a distance of approximately 300m in a north easterly direction to enable Mua Electricity Ltd to carry out connection and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order which previously came into operation on 03 August 2026 will now recommence on 28 September 2026 and the closure will be required until 09 October 2026. I) C10 (Part), Stockton; from its property known as The Glebe to its property known as Yew Tree Cottage to enable MJ Abbott Ltd to carry out installation of 90mm and 63mm diameter water main via directional drill and associated works. Alternative route via C10 (unaffected length) – Station Road – A36 – A303 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 14 September 2026 will now recommence on 28 September 2026 and the closure will be required until 20 November 2026. Orders A) to G) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Order H) and I) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.70) 2026 (Ref TTRO: 11764)
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and other associated works and will be operative from the 28 September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be up for 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 28 September 2026 and 31 January 2027.

Access to the PRoW cannot be maintained for this section of the works. Alternative route via West Hill – West Hill Lane and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 19 October 2026 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 30 October 2026. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
