(Nutbourne: School Lane)

(Temporary Daytime Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close School Lane between Green Eaves and Pucks Cottage. The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst sewer repair works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 12 October 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 12 October 2026 daily between 0830hrs and 1800hrs and will be completed on 21 October 2026.

(Linchmere: Marley Lane)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close sections of Marley Lane, between Camelsdale Road and Marley Lane Access Road.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst new gas mains are laid.

The Order will come into effect on 12 October 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 12 October 2026 and will be completed by 2 April 2027. (Donnington: A286 Stockbridge Road)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close the A286 Basin Road between the A27 Stockbridge roundabout junction and Grosvenor Road.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains works are undertaken. 

The Order will come into effect on 10 October 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 10 October 2026 and be completed by 27 November 2026.

(Lavant: Fordwater Road)

(Temporary Closure)  Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Fordwater Road between Pook Lane and New Road. 

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst highway drainage improvement works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 28 September 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected the proposed works will start on or after 28 September 2026 and will be completed by 23 October 2026.
