Aldermoor Road, Southampton - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Repairs

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.

1. The effect of the Order will be to close Aldermoor Road from its junction with Waltham Crescent to its junction with Waltham Crescent.

2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for carriageway repairs.

3. The alternative route will be Aldermoor Road, Coxford Road, Lords Hill Way, Lords Hill Centre West and Upper Brownhill Road.

4. The Order will come into force on 14th October 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 14th October 2026.
