On the 11th September 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on Woodlands Crescent & Woodlands Gate, Thornliebank.
The Order has been promoted in order to facilitate the essential carriageway and footway resurfacing works on or near the road, scheduled to be carried out from 08:30 on Monday 26th October to 16:00 on Friday 20th November 2026.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
No alternative diversion route is available.
