Beaconsfield Street - Temporary Road Closure To New Drainage Connections
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BEACONSFIELD STREET, LONG EATON
WHEN: 19 October to 22 November 2026 (07:00 to 23:59)
WHERE: Beaconsfield Street, Long Eaton at the Jct. of Tamworth Road.
REASON: To facilitate installation of new drainage connections in connection with the Long Eaton town deal regeneration project.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Claye Street, Salisbury Street, Tamworth Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
