ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Cemetery Road, Lye) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Cemetery Road and Chapel Street, Lye, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 05.10.2026 and will remain in force until 16.11.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic on Chapel Street will be diverted via: Pedmore Road, Morvale Street, Chapel Street, and vice versa. Traffic on Cemetery Road will be diverted via: Cemetery Road, Cross Walks, Talbot Street, High Street, and Pedmore Road; OR Pedmore Road, Stourbridge Road, Lye By-Pass, Talbot Street, Cross Walks, and Cemetery Road; OR Pedmore Road, Stourbridge Road, and Cemetery Road
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Fisher Street, Dudley) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Fisher Street, Dudley, for the purpose of facilitating footway works for the Dudley Interchange Scheme being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 07/10/2026 and will remain in force until 29/11/2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. The restrictions will be in force from 07:00 until 19:00 only each day. No diversion route is required.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
