Station Street - Temporary Suspension of One Way

Portsmouth City Council (Station Street) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) (No.161) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 13th October 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY
STATION STREET Access Road To Portsmouth And Southsea Station
From its junction with Station Street to outside Portsmouth and Southsea Station.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate rail bridge works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 13th October 2026 to 15th October 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
