NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order:
C1114 From C1110 To Hollybush Cottage, Pencombe, Temporary Road Closure Order
To temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1114 From C1110 To Hollybush Cottage, Pencombe, from the junction of High Orchard to The Farthings.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1114 onto the C1115, onto the A417, onto the C1118, onto the C1117, onto the C1114 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to drainage pipe replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 5th of October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
