On 22/9/2026 South Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the Section of Cairnmuir Highway, between Markethill Road and Highflat Road from 8.00am on Thursday 29 October 2026 and will remain in operation till 6.00pm on Thursday 12 November 2026 by reason of construction of a new access to land associated with East Nerston Farm.
